2020 Joyful Learning Summer School
Despite COVID-19 and social distancing becoming the new norm, our children of Joyful Learning Children's program are finding a new routine to learn and expand. Many educators and parents fear that COVID-19 would bring more educational disparity between income levels as individual care is prevalent for higher-income families, while many low-income families lack basic educational support. Our Summer School program fills up a part of that gap as we compromise it with an English Language Arts program, math program, music program, library sessions, and documentary sessions. Children are signing in four times a week with much focus . One student exclaimed "This was so fun! I can't wait to come tomorrow!"
