A Wonderful and Rewarding Experience Lily Futeran (11th Grade, Leonia High school)
I started volunteering with Give Chances because I love teaching kids, and tutoring with the program has made me enjoy it even more. I tutor a great group of elementary school students in math, English, science, and history. The kids are unafraid to ask questions and are so motivated, respectful, and intelligent. It is truly a pleasure to help them grow as students and develop their love for learning. There is no greater gratification than seeing my students master new techniques and gain confidence in their abilities. Tutoring with Give Chances has been a wonderful experience which I will continue through high school.
