An Eye-Opening Experience

Volunteering at Give Chances has been an opening experience for me. Initially, it took me a lot of time to learn how to help the kids and adjust to their needs. After a long period of time, I was able to properly help them grow and become better students. I also grew a stronger connection with my students. Having this bond helped me learn how to meet each student’s learning styles more easily. I aspire to be a fun and effective teacher while also being a friend to the kids. It’s satisfying to be able to watch the students grow in the program and be able to create progress in education. This continuing experience of teaching at Give Chances also taught me some important lessons and strengthened my ability to be able to secure relationships with children from different age groups and backgrounds. I look forward to being able to spend time with the children and hope that I will be able to meet them in person soon.
