[Give Chances] February Weekly Newsletter 3

This Valentine’s season, Give Chances and our High School and Middle School Chance Makers took to the community to share the talents of our DDartists through a special outreach event. Our students set up booths to sell beautifully designed Valentine’s Day cards and goodie bags, all crafted by our talented DDartists. While our Chance Makers started off a bit shy and hesitant, with the encouragement of community members, they quickly found their confidence. Our DDartists also engaged with passersby and shared the meaningful stories behind each of their art pieces.

This successful outreach event was more than just a fundraiser—it was a chance for our students to step outside their comfort zones, build confidence, and showcase the talents of our DDartists. A huge thank you to the community members who supported us and helped make this experience so impactful. We look forward to continuing to create opportunities that empower our students and artists alike!

In addition to kicking off the planning process, we celebrated the achievements of our Chance Makers Executive Board by awarding leadership honors to this year’s appointees. These students have demonstrated outstanding leadership, initiative, and commitment to their peers and the program. Their dedication will play a crucial role in making this year’s panel discussion impactful and engaging.
