[Give Chances] February Weekly Newsletter 6

On February 16, our DDartists had the unique opportunity to visit the office studio of renowned artist Taekyung Kim for a special art project. This enriching experience offered them the chance to step into the world of professional artistry, guided by Taekyung Kim’s expertise and encouragement.

During the session, our young artists explored various creative techniques, with a special emphasis on beadwork. By experimenting with colors, textures, and patterns, they created expressive pieces that reflected their individuality and emotions. The hands-on activity allowed them to expand their artistic expression while gaining confidence in their creativity.

Beyond the artwork, the experience was deeply inspirational. Taekyung Kim shared personal stories and insights into the artistic process, encouraging the young artists to embrace their own creative journeys. The studio was filled with joy, discovery, and connection, as participants immersed themselves in a space where self-expression was celebrated.

This project is part of the DDartist initiative, which continues to provide young artists with disabilities opportunities to explore, create, and grow through art.
