Youth Mental Wellness Project: Preventure Has Officially Launched!

We are excited to share that Give Chances has officially launched the Preventure Program, our newest initiative to support youth mental wellness and self-awareness.

Last week, we embarked on a meaningful journey alongside our students in grades 7–12— a journey filled with moments of shared laughter, honest reflection, and the first steps toward lasting personal growth.

Preventure is a free, small-group program that helps youth develop essential life skills, including:

✔️ Problem-solving and healthy stress management
✔️ Self-awareness and emotional regulation
✔️ Communication and decision-making in peer relation

What makes Preventure truly unique is its personalized approach. Based on a pre-assessment, students are grouped according to their personality traits—impulsivity, sensation-seeking, anxiety sensitivity, or negative thinking—enabling deeper, more relevant conversations and strategies tailored to each group.

"I used to think my personality was just negative, but now I see how I can use it as a strength."

– Feedback from a student participant

Through this program, we aim to help students better understand themselves, turning traits they once saw as weaknesses into sources of strength and resilience.

Give Chances remains committed to empowering youth to face life with confidence, clarity, and hope.
