A New Milestone for Joyful Learning Worldwide: Our First English Class in Calcutta!
We’re thrilled to share that Give Chances Worldwide successfully launched its very first English class via Zoom in Calcutta, India! This marks a meaningful step forward in our mission to empower young students with tools for a brighter future.
English education plays a critical role in breaking the cycle of poverty—opening doors to better jobs, higher education, and greater opportunities. Through this program, we’re committed to helping students gain the language skills they need to thrive.
For many low-income students in Calcutta, learning English is more than just mastering a new language—it’s a powerful tool for economic mobility and long-term success. Strong English skills give students a crucial edge, helping them rise above generational poverty and build a more promising and secure future for themselves and their families.
In our first session, we focused on interactive English speaking exercises, creating a strong foundation for confident communication. The students were eager and motivated—reminding us why this work matters so much.
This is just the beginning. We look forward to expanding our impact and continuing to support the dreams of students in India and beyond.
