Chance Makers Recap: Practicing Synergy in Action

On November 11th, our Chance Makers gathered at Give Chances’ headquarters in Palisades Park for an engaging session of 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, focusing on Habit 6: Synergy. During the session, students explored the meaning of synergy and its importance, learning how the whole can be greater than the sum of its parts. They discussed the value of embracing unique differences, standing up for diversity, and celebrating the qualities that make each individual special.

To put these principles into practice, students participated in activities like Speed Networking and Challenging Diversity, honing their social skills and connecting with each other in a dynamic way. This hands-on experience allowed students to see synergy in action as they communicated and collaborated with their peers.
