After hearing the financial hardships of the children of the Joyful Learning Children's program, many people were willing to support these families with groceries, food, supermarket gift cards and other essential items. Thanks to this support, we were able to provide 7 families with groceries and essential supplies. When we visited the families to distribute these donations, the students were thrilled and the parents also said, "thanks for this support, our family will be able to make it through this difficult time."
One of the parents shared this message to Give Chances supporters: "Firstly I give thanks to God and to you all who are helping in these real moments of need. I can only ask for many blessings for you that God always bless you."
Give Chances staff would also like to thank Food Guru, NJ Harvest Church, NJ Chodae Community Church, and other individual donors that have supported the four rounds of groceries. It was great to see big smiles on the children when we distributed the groceries. We are extremely grateful to walk with donors and participants alike to fight against COVID-19.
