Alongside the food assistance program, 1,350 masks were packed and distributed to family members and children of Joyful Learning Children’s program. As the stay-at-home order has relaxed in New Jersey, we continue to communicate with the families of the Joyful Learning Children’s program. At this point, many lack food to eat and family members go out to find daily labor work. As New Jersey State has partially opened, this is the most crucial time to protect low-income communities as they are at higher risk of contracting COVID-19 and are in need monetarily. To support the children’s wellbeing and families that have to work from this week, we made a decision to support these families as the last part of our COVID-19 mask relief fundraiser.
During this fundraiser, the spread of the needs of masks has evolved as the crisis continues. We thank every donor for your support in helping those affected by the crisis. Thank you for walking with us, with the people that needed your support.
