Recently, Give Chances had the pleasure of being able to conduct two interviews with students of the Joyful Learning program, Nicole Escamilla (grade 2) and Esther Cho (grade 3). The interview was a simple question and answer session that had to do with the Christmas season. Continue reading in order to see what the lovely students had to say!
Nicole Escamilla (2nd Grade)
Question: Nicole, what do you want for Christmas this year? What do you wish for?
Answer: This year, I’d like a dog because they’re fun to play with, and an OMG doll’s car because it’s a nice accessory to have. I also want my friends to have a fun Christmas because I didn’t see them a lot this year.
Question: If you could go anywhere for Christmas, where would it be?
Answer: I would want to go to Disney. I want to be able to go on all the rides and meet the characters, especially Minnie Mouse because she’s my favorite. I would be excited to meet all the princesses, too.
Question: What would you get your family members for Christmas?
Answer: I would get my dad a keychain, because he used his so much that it broke. I would get my brother a doll because he likes to play with them with me. And I would get my mom a lot of clothes because she really likes to go shopping.
Question: What would you like to do in the future?
Answer: I’m not completely sure yet, but I want to be someone like my cousin because she inspires me. I want to become a dentist because teeth are interesting, or maybe a cop because then I would be able to catch the bad guys. I would use my running skills to make sure I catch everyone.

Answer: This Christmas, I want a phone because they’re useful to have and I would be able to play games on it. I also want an LOL doll because they’re pretty and fun to play with.
Question: If you could go anywhere for Christmas, where would it be?
Answer: I would go to my friend’s house if I could go anywhere. We always have so much fun when we play together and we could share our dolls. I would also go to the mall because it’s in town and I can do a lot there.
Question: What would you get your family members for Christmas?
Answer: I would get my mom a matching sweater to me, so we can wear them together. I would get my brother pokemon cards and my sister a plushie so they can play with their toys.
Question: What would you like to do in the future?
Answer: I think I would like to become a chef or mayor. I like to help my mom cook food and we have a lot of fun in the kitchen together. I also like to bake with her. But I would also maybe like to become a mayor because then I could work to keep my city safe.
