Joyful Learning Children’s program Parent Interview: Ashley’s Father
After the coronavirus started, my wife quit working, and I only worked twice a week, so our situation was very difficult and we needed help. But thankfully, from around early April, Give Chance started to provide food steadily. Thanks to this, I was able to live without worrying much about eating at least. And even after lockdown, they continued to support our children with homework remotely, and also lent computers so our children could complete school assignments and take online classes. In June, it was a great help when Give Chances supported our house rent partially. We are very grateful. Fortunately, things were getting better, and from July my wife started working again, and I started working more often. I am very grateful that the Give Chances staff visited us every week to drop off grocery boxes, which helped us a lot. I also appreciate the online classes they provide and hope they continue to do it.
