Give Chances trained our volunteer tutors of our after school program with additional teaching tips to provide students a learning experience and structure that fits their unique needs. We discussed how to explain lessons based on a student’s learning style, how to incorporate student collaboration in the classroom and outlined valuable resources for both math and English supplementation. We are excited to see how tutors and students continue to work and learn together with these new skills!
