A Resounding Success: Thursday's Chance Makers Orientation

This past Thursday, we kicked off the new year with our Chance Makers Orientation, welcoming a new group of passionate student leaders. This year, we are excited to announce that we are including middle schoolers for the first time in our program's history. We gathered over a delicious fried chicken dinner from bbq Chicken, using the time to connect, share stories, and build community. The excitement was palpable as we played icebreaker games and learned more about each other, and about the qualities that make a great leader—strong communication, kindness, and the spirit of service.

Throughout the evening, we delved into what it means to be a leader with Chance Makers. Participants were eager to embrace the skills necessary to make a positive impact in their communities. As we move forward into this new year, we're excited to see the growth and impact of all our Chance Makers, especially our new middle school members. This orientation set a positive tone for what promises to be an inspiring and successful year ahead!

If you resonate with Give Chances' cause and would like to take part our mission, please consider donating to our organization. Thank you.
