Joyful Learning encompasses both in-person and online platforms, providing comprehensive homework assistance, tutoring services, and a spectrum of extracurricular opportunities tailored for students in grades one through eight.

Special Program

Jersey City Art Education Program
The Jersey City Art Education Program by Give Chances is a transformative after-school initiative designed to provide high-quality, inclusive art education to low-income students and individuals with developmental disabilities.
Rooted in the belief that access to creative opportunities should not be determined by income or ability, this program fosters self-expression, confidence, and community connection through the arts.

Financial Obligations
The Joyful Learning After school program’s tuition fee is $100/month without any financial assistance. However, financial aid is available to applicable individuals and families.
Financial Aid
Your eligibility for the financial assistance is decided by your annual income and where it falls under the HUD (The Department of Housing and Urban Development) Income Limits. Detailed income limits vary per year, the size of the household, and state/county.
Multiple Locations
We provide in person tutoring in locations such as, Palisades Park, Leonia, Jersey City (NJ), and Flushing (NY). But, our goal is to provide the Joyful Learning Afterschool Program nationwide!

Two Types of Programs

In-Person
Give Chances currently runs vibrant in-person learning centers strategically placed in Palisades Park, Leonia, Jersey City (NJ), and Flushing (NY).
These dedicated spaces support students in grades 1-8, offering academic assistance Monday through Friday from 4-6 PM EST, fostering a conducive learning environment for local students.
Online
Our Zoom-based online program, running every weekday from 4-6 PM EST, is designed for students in grades 1-8.
This inclusive platform is open to learners nationwide, offering an accessible and engaging environment for educational growth.
