DDartists' Best-Seller
The DDartists' project's planner was made with the purpose of increasing employment opportunities for artists with developmental disabilities. Now, it has become the DDartists' best-seller on both Amazon and the Give Chances website. Many of the buyers have praised the quality of the artwork with one person commenting, "The drawings that were produced by people with developmental disabilities in the diary are beautiful. I want to cheer on Give Chances who is constantly helping these people." The TRIO Program of Washington State's Evergreen State College is another buyer who has ordered 280 planners. TRIO is a scholarship program for the underprivileged, including low-income families, first-generation immigrants, and people with disabilities. A staff member of TRIO found out about Give Chances while looking for back-to-school items and came across this non-dated planner by chance. Give Chances hopes that knowledge and awareness of the DDartists Project will continue to spread and provide more employment opportunities for people with developmental disabilities.
