Nicole Choi has been volunteering at Give Chances and has been a core member of our organization. After seeing the help and support that our DDartists have received, Nicole wanted to further enhance our community outreach program to raise awareness about developmental disabilities and leverage support for our DDartists program. On December 14th, Nicole and other volunteers set up a stand in front of Cafe HESED in Little Ferry to showcase some of the art pieces made by our DDartsits. They also handed out flyers with more detailed information about the program and the ways in which people can get involved. We were so excited since countless people were interested in looking at the DDartists’ creations and communicating with us to learn more about the program. With an overwhelming amount of support, we were able to successfully reach out to the broader community to share our program, more specifically about how our program aims to create jobs for people with disabilities and raise donations. We are so grateful for everyone who showed support for the program and we want to give a special thanks to Nicole for actively participating and organizing this outreach event!
