Community Town Hall with NJ Legislators 
Artists with Developmental Disabilities (DDartists) Amplify Voices for Inclusion 

On September 30, 2025, the ‘Community Town Hall Meeting with NJ Legislators’ was held at the Korean American Association of New Jersey, featuring NJ State Senator Gordon Johnson and Assemblymembers Ellen Park and Shama Haider. 

Notably, artists with developmental disabilities were present, courageously sharing both the real challenges faced by individuals with disabilities and the ways they connect with society through their creative work. Their voices highlighted the urgent need for greater understanding and policy support.

This Town Hall was a meaningful occasion to amplify diverse community voices, deepen mutual understanding, and strengthen the bridge toward a more inclusive society where people with and without disabilities thrive together.
